Critique session Information

The Sydney Tap Dance Festival is hosting a critique session for participants of the workshop classes.

The idea behind a critique session is to focus on Tap Dancing and not all the glitter and glam that you would find at most dance eisteddfod competitions. The benefits of having a critique session and not a dance competition is that the participants are only required to wear comfortable casual dance wear  eliminating any focus on costumes. Another benefit is that the students, parents and teachers will be able to get direct feedback from the judge as apposed to receiving a report card with potential miss leading or vague critiques. One of the biggest reasons we have decided to steer away from the traditional competition style is that we want the participants to focus on what is truly important which is growth and development in an encouraging environment. 

Critique session will be held at Brent Street on Sunday the 21st of April and will commence at 4:30pm!
